Sitting in a tree fort in the woods the summer before his senior year of high school, Brian Church shared the wine that his friend had stolen from her parents. Upon drunken discussion and ipod shuffling, Brian's belligerent rant on how someone needs to combine the beat-crafting of Dr. Dre and the songwriting of Bob Dylan was not ignored. A particularly pale friend quickly dubbed Brian "DDBD" and his musical mission is yet to cease. Over the next few years, Brian recorded under the pseudonym DDBD which gradually swayed away from his original intentions. Instead, a sort of folk-ish indie rock with electronic beats and basslines arose. It didn't take long for Brian to realize that making music has a freedom so enticing and enjoyable that production never seemed to totally cease. Featuring collaborations with Kaelin Kost, Dan Blaushild, Brian Adams, Mike Paratto, and Andrew Yadon this LP is jam packed with talented musicians.
